Here you can learn about the Wildlife Rehab Shelter and how we help birds and animals. Enjoy our stories, play some games, and color pictures as you find out about the shelter and some of the animals we have helped.

Just like Smokey the Bear is a caretaker of the forest, Nancy and Gunther Golina are caretakers for the wildlife they help. In the forests around Prince Rupert and the northwest coast of British Columbia they have shown compassion for the injured birds and animals that would surely die if not helped. This assist's in preserving the species and give the injured or sick a second chance in the wild after they are healthy again. Returning birds and animals back into the wild, limits mans impact on them.
