September, 2013 - Rampage Thunder
Prince Rupert Rampage players, Kory Movold and Jared Andreesen attended the PR Wildlife Shelter recently, to make a donation to the shelter. It was on behalf of the entire hockey team and all the participants in their Annual Charity Golf Scramble held in July. The donation amounted to $10,130, which was gratefully accepted by Nancy & Gunther Golinia.
Everyone associated with the Shelter was amazed at this donation and the great community spirit that this team contributes to our community.

From everyone at the shelter, a "BIG THANK YOU" to the Prince Rupert Rampage.

May, 2013 - Retirement Donation
A presentation was made recently to the Wildlife Shelter on behalf of Val Hands retirement from the Canadian Fishing Company. Val is seen here handing over a donation of $1000 to Gunther Golinia.
The money was a collection of donations from Val's co-workers at the Canadian Fishing Co. and then topped off by Val & her husband Eric, to come up with this very generous donation.
This money was very much appreciated by everyone associated with the Wildlife Shelter and we congratulate Val on her retirement.
THANK YOU to everyone that donated !!

June, 2012 - Theaann's Greek Palace
A fundraiser organized by the operators of Theaann's, located in the Pacific Inn, was held on Seafest weekend. Sarah & Elias have always had that love of animals, and came up with the idea of a "Spaghetti Eating Contest" to benefit the Shelter. Sarah is well aware of the good work the Wildlife Shelter does for the community and wanted to help them. The Pacific Inn contributed some generous prizes as well for the event.
