This Northern Flicker was sent down from Dr. Butler, in Terrace, to the Rehab Shelter. The fledgling was missing it's tail feathers and could not fly. It must have fallen victim to a predator of some kind and got away with it's life. This little bird will stay at the shelter until it grows new tail feathers.
